Evaluation & Diagnosis
Lip and tongue mobility are assessed as part of routine oral exams for children and adults. Infant evaluations are available for feeding or latching concerns. When a restriction is identified, we evaluate how it affects feeding, speech, or breathing and review appropriate treatment options.
Lip and Tongue Tie Treatment
When indicated, treatment may include a laser frenectomy to release restrictive tissue and restore function. We use advanced CO₂ laser technology for precise, gentle care with minimal bleeding, reduced discomfort, and faster healing compared to traditional surgical techniques.
When to Seek Care
An evaluation may be recommended if you or your child experience:
- • Feeding or speech difficulties
- • Jaw, neck, or facial tension
- • Sleep or breathing concerns
Coordinated Care
We work closely with speech therapists, lactation consultants, pediatricians, and other providers when needed. Customized guidance and exercises support healing and long-term success.
