1) Cosmetic Procedures:
By enhancing your smile, you are truly enhancing every aspect of your life. We witness firsthand the power that cosmetic dentistry has to change lives. A beautiful smile can not only change how you feel about yourself but can also how others perceive you. When you’re afraid to let others see your teeth, you can be perceived as withdrawn and standoffish. But when you’re eager to smile and laugh, confident in the beauty of your teeth, others may see you as warmer and friendlier.

- Teeth Whitening
1) In-Office Zoom Whitening:
Using our in-office bleaching option, patients can experience fast, dramatic teeth whitening results—often in as little as an hour. Our revolutionary Zoom!® teeth whitening system is able to whiten teeth by up to ten shades in just under an hour. Using a professional strength hydrogen-peroxide-based bleaching gel that is activated upon exposure to a special light, the Zoom whitening system can dramatically lighten or entirely remove stains caused by coffee, tea, soda, tobacco, wine, and certain other foods and medications. . It is also important to mention, that regular professional cleanings are important to have whiter teeth, and may be required before any in-office whitening can be completed. The results of your in-office whitening treatment will be long-lasting, especially when paired with an at-home teeth whitening kit.
2) At-Home Whitening:
If you would prefer to whiten your smile on your own schedule, our office’s take home bleaching kit may be the perfect solution for you. We will fabricate custom made teeth whitening trays for you to use with a specially formulated whitening gel. To whiten your smile, just line your trays with the professional-strength gel and wear them for the amount of time prescribed. In a time span of one to two weeks, you will notice a brighter, whiter smile.
The centerpiece of many smile makeovers, porcelain veneers are among the most transformative treatments in cosmetic dentistry. Custom-crafted to complement the size, shape, color, and texture of surrounding natural teeth, porcelain veneers are ultra-thin porcelain casings affixed to the front surfaces of teeth to conceal cracks, chips, gaps, and discoloration.
Advantages of Porcelain veneers are:
- There is a minimum of tooth reduction necessary in most cases.
- The surrounding gum tissue is not invaded.
- Spaces between teeth can be closed without braces or crowns.
- Crooked teeth can be put into proper alignment without braces or crowns.
- Darkened teeth can be made lighter.
- The life expectancy of veneers is much longer than that of resin bonding.
- Porcelain veneers are extremely resistant to staining or fracture and do not discolor over time.
Veneers can be as thin as a contact lens but make a world of difference and are an excellent way of treating stained, crooked teeth without removing too much healthy tooth structure.
Oral surgery and Extractions. Dental extractions are necessary for multiple reasons – decayed and broken teeth that are not restorable, pain or infections, gum disease, or preparation for orthodontic treatment. Whatever the cause, rest assured that we will carefully explore and inform you of any other options before making the decision to remove a tooth.
At Only Smiles, our doctors are trained to handle most dental extractions including surgical extractions which require removing bone. In the event that an extraction is too complicated because your tooth may be too close to a major facial nerve, sinus, or has unusual anatomy, we will alleviate whatever discomfort we can and refer you to the appropriate specialist.
Whatever the reason for requiring an extraction, it is important to restore these spaces to prevent more dental complications in the future. Leaving spaces in your mouth will cause other teeth to shift which can then lead to gum disease, cavities and loss of other teeth. Except in the event of extracting wisdom teeth (third molars), all spaces should be restored with implants, bridges, or removable partial dentures.
